Deep in the heart of Spain is the second largest desert if Europe. Don’t ask me where the largest one is, I have no idea. I was called upon, a while back to lead a group of Trekkers around this desert un early May. This is a perfect time of year because there is still too much snow in the mountains and it’s too cold in most places elsewhere in Europe.
